  • If you have a juicer, juice a bag of fresh cranberries and 4 gala apples. It will be gone in 24 hours.

  • NO

  • Nope.
It's not an STD or something to be embarrassed about, just GO.
In the meantime, lots of water and STRAIGHT cranberry juice (not a cocktail), and look for AZO tablets to help with discomfort.

  • Drinking cranberry juice will help but generally speaking you can't get rid of a UTI without medication. The "I" stands for infection which requires antibiotics to effectively get rid of.
NOT going to the dr could make it worse and the infection might spread.

    Go to the dr.

My grandmother used to get UTI's all the time and would end up going in to the dr every couple of months. She started taking cranberry pills and didn't have any UTI's after that.

  • Not likely.

  • Go to the doctor....

Trust me you don't want it to spread to your is very very very painful :)

Only way to get rid of it is to get some antibiotics, generally not to expensive. Most doctor offices have it so that you can walk in anytime and give them urine and then many times the doc will just call you in a script for antibiotics(that is if you have a doctor you have been seeing regularly, if not then go to a walk in)

  • Ugh those are one of the few things that will have me running to the doctor. I'm not a fan of overinflated scant amounts of fire urine every 5 minutes.

  • Don't know what overinflated means because I got autocorrected but that is probably better.

  • Remember that UTIs that last longer than two days require medical intervention.
try adding 1 teaspoon baking soda to a glass of water as it may help ease your infection. The soda neutralizes the acidity in your urine, speeding along your recovery.Blueberries and cranberries are from the same plant family and seem to have the same bacteria-inhibiting properties. In one study, blueberry juice was found to prevent UTIs cranberry juice is known to help with UTIs.

  • If you have a full blown UTI, you'll need a prescription for antibiotics.
