My 10 year old girl has 103.5 fever . She is on keflex antibiotic . Go to er or wait for urgent care at 9:00 am ?

Strep test came back negative . Don't know what she has

  • Give her lots of fluids and wait for urgent care. Keep taking her temp. If it goes up go to the ER.

  • I'd go to urgent care clinic. What are the antibiotics for?? She's got something and the antibiotics don't seem to be working.

  • Why haven't you given her anything for the fever? Ibuprofen or Advil or Tylenol ? One should help bring down the fever, if they don't then go to ER.
