    You mix some rice baby cereal with the formula. You can get accurate formulas from his physician...

  • You don't need to do cereal at all, actually. It can constipate. If baby is sitting up without support, has a pincer grasp and has lost his tongue thrust reflex, then you can cut a banana or avocado into chunks and let him self-feed. No purees needed; if baby needs purees then baby's not ready for solids.

  • The container of rice cereal should have the directions. Basically about a tbs of cereal and then drizzle formula in until it is thin. You do not want it too thick but kind of like milkshake consistency.

  • Add some formula and heat in microwave. Serve it with baby food fruit. Put a little cereal and fruit on each spoonful.
