among my Facebook friends and pages
Is this the same for you?

  • That's the thing about pop culture. We forget those that truly made a huge difference for so many people. Not that one loss is deeper than another, but there is a huge difference in the history and legacy each have left.

  • It was expected of Mandela because of his age (95) and his health. As sad as it is, he lived a full life.
Walker on the other hand was young and fits the younger generation more.

Mandela will live on forever in History books.
In 12 months, people will be saying "Who is Paul Walker?"

  • More like 6 months, lol

Answer by KTElite at 11:24 AM on Dec. 6, 2013

  • I agree with KTElite. You have a full life lived & one cut short. Both sad but one is a natural death & one is a tragic death of a young man with small kids.

  • I've seen more RIPS for Mandela that Walker. Shoot, I've seen more RIPS for the other guy in the car than Walker.

  • Not what I've seen. Only a handful mentioned Walker at all, but it's been solid Mandela all day.

  • It's been a mixture of both on my FB. Now I did have one girl who basically said she had the worst day ever because Alabama lost and Paul Walker died on the same day. (((Rolls eyes))) I think that's a little extreme.

Answer by mommy_jules at 12:07 PM on Dec. 6, 2013

  • No, I don't think anyone on my Facebook has even mentioned Paul Walker. I didn't know who he was until he died.

Answer by SWasson at 12:17 PM on Dec. 6, 2013

  • I'm already saying "who's Paul Walker"...
