How can I make cling-ons stick better to my window?

I bought my daughter a Nativity scene of cling-ons to stick to our front window, but some of the pieces keep falling off. Could it be because the glass is too cold? I know they have to be completely flat, and they are. The glass is clean. What are we doing wrong?

  • Heat it with a blow dryer or wait until it is warmer, they may fall off anyway if it is a cold in Denver as it is here. They also might adhere so well that you can't get them off, lol, I have some stars that have remained stuck for about 7 years now, LOL

  • If you mist them with water, they'll cling

  • I find the glass has to be super dry and slightly warm for clings to stick.
