What did your Google page look like yesterday?

In light of the recent hacking of Google, FB, Twitter, Yahoo, etc., I'm wondering why my Google page didn't have some kind of tribute to Pearl Harbor yesterday.

  • Google typically does there doodles to honor certain people rather than holidays. They do some holidays (St. Patrick's Day, Earth Day, Independence Day), but for the most part it goes to honoring people.

  • I could be wrong but I don't think Google has ever commemorated PH day. If I recall there was some flack about it in recent years. I am not sure about Yahoo and the others though

  • I saw in some other forums that people were upset that they once again did not acknowledge PH.

  • I wondered that myself. There was a nice documentary on the History Channel last night. It said there are only twenty veterans left who are Pearl Harbor survivors. Perhaps less, since we don't know when the documentary was produced.
