UPDATE to my mom's missing outside cat

He came back today!!! I went there after work & kept the side door to the garage open. When I was going out to refill his outside food dish there he was. I can't tell you how relieved I am! He looked fine, no injuries & he gobbled up the fresh can of food I gave him. We knew he'd been there at some point, since we saw his paw prints in the snow. Unless he scurries out past me on my next visit, that cat is staying put until they get back! ;p

Thanks for all of you who reassured me & gave me advice. :)

  • I wonder if its the pressure change that makes them react weird. My sister's can bolted out of their house the other night and it was like -25 without the windchill and she hid under their shed. She said the cat wouldn't come out for almost anything. At least they knew where she was. I told her next time to open a can of tuna. I don't know a cat that would ever turn that up.

  • Glad he's ok. I hated when my cats would go missing.
