  • Not salt b/c there is enough salt in most foods already and too much salt in your diet is bad for your health. So kids don't need that in their diets. I'd let them use pepper but they don't like it. I use onions and garlic to flavor foods.

  • sometimes, depending on what we're eating (you have no idea how many times ive said "no, your dessert doesnt need pepper" or something like that haha).

  • Sure. My son wants to put grated Parmesan on everything. I don't think we have a salt shaker though. Pepper maybe.

  • I half-pretend to sprinkle some on when he asks (which is only ever at restaurants when he sees them on the table) just to statisfy him.

  • So would any of you say that your child throwing a fit over not letting them put salt on their food means it happens quite a bit when in the care of someone else?
