When did you start to feed your baby infant cereal?

  • My daughter was 5 months when i began feeding her cereal. She would notice when me n my dh sat down to eat and wanted to eat also.

  • about 2 1/2 months i gave him some and he liked it, but i decided to wait a little while so it was more like 4 1/2 mo

  • We skipped it and waited till 6 months. Then we began veggies and fruits. Once I did the math on the cereal I saw it has very little nutritional value. They have to eat a ton to get anything out of it.

  • I tried at 4 months but he wasn't ready. I tried again at 5 months and he's been eating it every night since.

  • 5 months! but i think i would of tried it sooner because my son would spit up after he eats and once i started him on cereal he stopped, pretty amazing.

  • My dd has acid the doc told me to put a tsp for every ounce of formula in with her bottle.....i think she was 6-8 weeks. If you are talkin about solid...(not mixed with formula...) My LO is eatting that also...and shes 11 weeks now. i suppose it depends on your child....try it, if they are ready you will know.
