so i've been checking the irs website trying to see when i get my refund, and all it tells me is "we cannot provide you with any information at this time" and same thing with their refund hotline. i tried calling today so i could talk to an actual person, but all it was was recordings and no button i could press to talk to someone. does anyone know the number where i can actually get ahold of a PERSON?

  • That's about as good as you can do. How long ago did you file? Also, did you have extra stimulous? The recovery stimulous is taking longer since the IRS is so inundated with gazillions of returns that are having to be rechecked. It is my understanding as a tax preparer that the IRS is taking 8-15 MORE days to process these.
