Need resume help, does this sound right??

I am writing a cover letter for a job.  Does the below sentence sound right?  Or does it need to be fixed?

Thank you!

For eighteen years I have worked in social services as a Case Manager, as well as a Program Coordinator and Counselor.

  • I would need to double check but I "believe" that you would not capitalize your titles. I think the grammar rule is only if it is in a title:

    Jane Smith, Case Manager

  • I think it sounds fine, although you could change it to, "I have worked for eighteen years ..." if you like it better that way.

  • I would go with "For the past eighteen years, I have worked....."

If it isn't current then I would word it as "For eighteen years, I worked in...."
