Does you area have a "Handy Hubby"? You could pay one to do all the crap jobs you don't want to do.

  • They can be over rated, just sayin, you should need a wealthy husband who worships the ground you and your children walk on. I have almost all of that minus the worship me (okay some of the time) and the wealthy part, LOL

  • Always get the stand-strait tree thing!! Ya know where they drill the hole in the tree? (mom used to work part time at a tree farm, so we always got those)
I will rent out my hubby. You'll have to pay airfare and meals. He's 6'4" and never needs a ladder to put the star on top!

  • got lights on with gloves this year (as last year got itchy rash on hands when wore no gloves)
    after lights tree leaning bad
so i unscrewed the four thingies, and turned tree in stand an inch and screwed those darn thingies in again, had a wrench thing to tighten them

then i decorate with my daughter, i was grumpy but soon faded as she was so cute singing carols

but could use husband for taking it all down

  • That would probably be a viable business - rent a Honey Do, guys you can pay by the hour to do general round the house stuff, same as a cleaning service, but instead of dusting and vacuuming they clean furnace filters, hang christmas lights and change really high up light bulbs.
