Name a shelter dog!

I work at a shelter and we are in need of new and different names to give the pets that come in. We use a lot of people names, and cute silly animal names, too. We hate to use the same name twice, so I'm asking for some ideas!

  • Ugh... try to find their real names. We did it with our shelter dog. We pulled up a list of the most common male dog names. We started at the top and yelled the name. When we hit his real name, his ears perked up and he ran over to us.... That was his name... :)
