Would this be an ok gift for them?

My ds12 & my dd10 have regular toothbrushes but I have been thinking of buying them one of those electric tooth brushes...I feel this would give them a more accurate good brushing.

What do you think or suggest?

Thanks ladies for your input ;)

  • My kids (both boys, but same ages as yours) actually WANT electric toothbrushes, so they'd be thrilled. lol Most kids like anything new like that, so I'd say go for it. And as other have said, you can get character ones that would make it even more fun for them.

  • 12 year old is a little old for the character ones....

Our dentist doesn't like the electric ones for kids because they don't brush right with them.... see what your dentist suggests.

  • We always put a new electric toothbrush in the stockings. You do have to watch them brush their teeth to make sure they are doing a good job.

  • I usually do that as a stocking stuffer, so I say go for it.

  • I always get them in the stocking. They are too old for characters. They'd be too small.

  • I bought my kids and my niece and nephew a toothbrush for Christmas. After what I'm going thru with having infections and teeth pulled, the people I love WILL take care of their teeth
