When chicken pox go away question

When chicken pox go away are they supposed to leave a red spot where the scab was? All mine on my face r off but now theres flat red spots. It isnt scar tissue, its bright red and flat. My skin is super smoith and soft but if u looked at me all you would see are these bright red flat spots.

Will thwy go away or will i be left looking like a freak??

  • I've never ever seen anyone walking around with those marks, so I'd venture to guess they'll go away. Never had chicken pox myself but DH did. NO marks. None on DS either, who got the chicken pox from the vaccine!

  • I still have a couple scars from the chicken pox but they're not red and barely visible. How long has it been?

  • Do they look like they are on the surface,or just under?
There is still a chance they will scar. They were wounds, and sometimes they don't fade all the way. Make sure you use sunscreen for a least a year from now,or they can discolor when you tan

  • I jist got over them a week ago. The spots im referring to arent just what a normal pox mark looks like. Its more like a red spot that seems like the blood vessels burst under the skin. Or like what a hickey would look like!
