How to get rid of cigerett smoke smell in a room?

  • Is this a room that someone smoked in for years? If so I don't think it's entirely possible. It gets in the paint, the carpet, the carpet padding, etc. You would have to strip the room and start over.

  • Stop smoking in that room. There are products to help with that in the air freshener aisle. Things like baking soda or febreze.

  • There are products made just for that purpose, clean the floors, and upholstery with those. Paint the walls with Kilz, then repaint... It takes a lot to totally rid the smell

  • Burn some natural incense or keep some natural fragrance in your room. Try www.purefragrances.com. It is by far the best one to mask any kind of smell. Personal experience speaking ;)
