  • That's pretty generic. Who is the 9 year old in question?

Can you give us more details so we can help more?

  • Do you have a 9yr old you could ask?? The only 9yr old girl I know likes things different from what other girls might like, she likes zombies, and science experiments, but other 9yr olds might still be into girly stuff like barbies.

  • ask her?

I would say if you have NO ide- ask her or her mom, and if you can't for whatever reason, I'd go with crafty things...or money

  • My 9 year old wants knitting supplies (yarn, but also some different needle sizes), doll stuff, some of the book sets in the American Girls historical girls series, a sled. She told me something else the other day (that I can't remember right now) and I thanked her for the info and mentioned that she may not get everything she's mentioned wanting it or asked for it, and she said, "Of course, I know that!" lol

She's also getting some clothes that I know she'll like. And I picked up some Stockmar crayons & Lyra Ferby colored pencils.

    I suggest:
Clothes, books, nail polish, toys/accessories that reflect her interest, hobbies/craft stuff, art supplies. If you're buying for a random 9 year old or one you don't know well, then a friendship bracelet kit, or some other self-contained kit for bracelet making or beading projects, would be a safe bet. (Like the Alex or Klutz brand packaged kits.)
