What's the main thing your child/children asked for this year for Christmas?

DD, 4, asked for Zoomer.

DD, 4, asked for Flutterby Fairy.

Thanks to my amazing sister, they are both getting what they asked for. :) I love my sister.

  • My 9 year old DS really wants a specific set of Lego Ninjago. He's getting them.

The 12 year old DS really wants an XBox. He is not getting this. He's already getting a 3DS that while he didn't specifically ask for, he's going to love.

  • My daughter asked for Monster High Dolls, Lego Friends, and Teen Titans action figures. Happening. Thank God she stayed within our budget. It was scaled way back. Last year she asked for the Dorathe Explorer dollhouse, and it happened, and the year before that it was the Dora kitchen, which happened. This year is more modest, but so was her wish list.

  • You laugh, but I do NOT want to deal with all of the fighting that will go along with the 3DS. No matter how many times I say it they refuse to believe that they need to do things other than play video games. And I love the parental controls the Kindle Fire has. So we can monitor the time spent on them much easier.
