My son was complaining of a sore throat last night, This morning he woke up early, which never ever happens, still complaining. I looked down his throat and can see white bumps along the sides. Is that a symptom of strep? He's only had it once, so I'm not familiar with the symptoms.

  • It could be. It's best to have a Dr. do a throat swab & get him on antibiotics so he can feel better for the holidays. (if he has it)

  • It's best to have a doctor check. Untreated Strep can lead to reheumatic fever, which can cause heart problems.
