Someone asked me if being gay was a birth defect.

A birth defect is a problem that happens while the baby is developing in the mother's body. Most birth defects happen during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Hormones, chemical messengers released by glands into the bloodstream, regulate a wide variety of physiological functions, and during pregnancy hormones affect not only the mother but also the child. Estrogen and testosterone play an instrumental role in determining sexual characteristics, behaviors and functions. While you're pregnant, So is it not possible if a women produce too much Estrogen while carrying a male child. The male child has an increase chance of becoming gay ?

  • Not sure if you're trolling or serious. If being gay is a "birth defect" then so is having blue eyes.

  • Well, studies have shown that the more sequential males a woman has,the more likelihood of them being gay due to her body feminizing the fetuses
But this is not a birth DEFECT
Being gay is not a health issue
