Where do you usually store your breads?

Burger buns, dinner rolls, sandwich and whole wheat/grain breads? the store bought kinds.
In your pantry, fridge or kitchen counter? The heating in our house is around 72-74. So I end up shoving it in the fridge 2 days after buying. it hasn't happened alot but sometimes it does go bad quicker on the kitchen counter or pantry

  • I now have a pantry shelf for bread, never even tried the fridge, I never have extra space in there. I used to keep a basket on the counter too.

  • I store my breads on one of the shelves of my etagere. It sits right outside our kitchen, in the dining room. I don't have much pantry or counter storage area and I don't like bread when it is stored in the fridge.

  • Sorry. I'm sick and I thought that said "breasts".
On top of the microwave. Bread, that is. Not breasts.

  • I have a really good bread box that keeps them fresh longer....

  • I have a basket that is about the length of one loaf of bread and the width of two. I don't know where I got it. But it's my bread basket. haha. It sits on the counter with the bread stacked in it, and sometimes around it. Our house runs about 73 in the winter and 78 in the summer, so I occasionally do have to throw out moldy bread, but not often. I don't like bread that is stored in the fridge, either. It tends to go stale more quickly.

  • On the table. My mom kept bread in the fridge and I detest it.

  • We only have store bought pita. It is either in a basket on the counter or thrown into the freezer. The breads that I make are stored on the counter in bags and don't last long enough to get stale or moldy.
