  • Because our "President" is a moron, who has no clue how to run a country,or get us out of this mess. He only wants to try and be all things to all people. He's broken every single one of his campaign promises, hasn't even been in office 2 months, and already has spent more money that President Bush did in 8 years! We are headed for extremely bad times at the hands of this embicle, and no one seems to be concerned.

  • The only sacrifice I've been making is no longer purchasing ANYTHING with Martha Stewart label on it (or her subsidiaries), ever since seeing this "advice" from her, of all people to "suck it in!"  Easy for HER to do!!!

  • I think the dow is down not just because the stimulus is going to help those in foreclosure but the best economist say it wont work on a number of fronts. The foreclosure bailout is one, adding to welfare programs is another because even if you give more to those low income they still wont have money to really effect the economy or grow it, and because the jobs they say will be created will still be short term not long term positions, so when those jobs (roads etc) are built and done were back to where we are now.
