  • When I was raising my kids, it was me. My opinion is that kids thrive on their parent(s) being the boss and kids knowing exactly where they stand. Can you imagine how scary it would be to be 4 or 5 years old and know you had control over a grown up? Kids can't manage that power healthily. Some adults can't even do it lol

    but some moments seems like she is, because most times everything i do is just for her

    so i am in charge, but most everything i do, i am am doing for her

  • Parents are in charge as far as household rules and enforcing them. We pick bedtime, meal time, what they watch, doing homework,etc. And, what belief system we follow.... But kids gradually become more in charge as they mature, and a parent gradually turns more autonomy over them selves...
