This is one of the things that I am super cheap about. I get my purses second hand.I just found a purse at Goodwill for $2.50

  • Before I was married I bought a Louis Vuitton for around $400 & a matching wallet for $350. Now I carry a Sock Monkey fabric print tote I bought on etsy for $25 three years ago! LOL Wow, how priorities change when you have kids right?

  • When I use to buy purses every year, I would not spend more than $20 for one. I would find them at Ross.

  • The most expensive on I bought was the Louis Vuitton wallet and purse. I have a few Coach that were over $300. Crazy!

  • I think about $150.00 for a leather one at the Fossil Outlet. Now, I am on the Vera Bradley kick, so I usually shop the clearance sales online. I bought a purse, a wallet and a lanyard for $100.00.

  • $20-30, and that was usually half off at Khols... back before I was "kid poor"

  • I try not to go over $30.00, but then it will usually last me the whole year, or longer. I'm not into switching out my purses for the seasons. Too much work. :p

  • Years ago when my kids were little my husband bought me a beautiful leather purse for $70. I wanted to kill him, it was way too extravagant. Guess what, it lasted for more than 10 years, and I used it almost every day. Finally the clasp broke. I'd like to get it fixed because it still looks nice.

For Mother's Day he bought me a Coach purse. More expensive, and I can only hope it will wear as well.
