  • It can. It's young but possible. I've heard of babies born with a tooth.

  • I read in "What to Expect" that very rarely, babies can even be born with teeth popping through, so I guess it's possible but highly unlikely.

  • My brother was born with two teeth. It is not the usual time but it can happen anytime.

  • Teeth do strange things. I'm in my 40s and I had a tooth start growing in. That was the weirdest thing. I still can't figure it out so its normal for a tooth to come in at any age, young or old!!!

  • Yes, it's normal, a little early, but there's nothing wrong with that. Massaging it can help ease it, but best bet is tylenol and a teething ring, Also, I have 5 kids, and all of them liked sucking/gnawing on a clean warm washcloth when they were teething.
