  • She could take an old shirt that she likes and make a throw pillow simply sew at arms and bottom stuff with stuffing and sew the neck line. She could even use the stuffing out of an old pillow that you don't want anymore. She could make an eye glass holder out of an old tie. Just cut off the tie a ways down from the fat part ( long enough for glasses and a little extra for the sewing and top cover). Turn it in side out sew the bottom. Turn it right side out put Velcro on the top to close it up and decorate. Hope this helps and you can understand my rambling!

  • I find that old sheets can make just about anything. Some simple projects: wallet, book cover: cell phone case, eye glasses case
Decorate a coffee can and make it a pencil holder
Paint and old brick or paver and use it as a door stop
Thats all I can think of for now, hope this helps.

  • An old cupcake pan can be used to grow seedlings for the garden. Once they are transplanted outside, the pan can be washed and put back to use for cupcakes too!

  • You can make a kaleidoscope using a paper towel roll, wax paper, some rubber bands...you'll have to do a search online to find out what to use to make the stuff for the inside that makes the colors.
