Do you put words in signs that aren't really there?

My huband pointed out that he did this occasionaly, and I do it too. For example:
My work just recently renovated the kitchen, they put in this microwave that is like a drawer and when you hit a button it slides open from the cabinet. Someone put a sticker on it that said "press open" so people would know to press the open button to open it. The first time I used it I could of sworn the sticker said "press here to open" so I stood there and pressed the sticker for almost a minute before I figured out what it really said. Do any of you ever do that?
