Update on the jerks who vandalized Goblin Valley rock formation

They're both being charged federally with felony criminal mischief.  Should they get time for it?  The BSA already kicked them to the curb.

  • Yes, they should get federal time. Having seen vandalism on other federal landmarks I think that this type of thing deserves the strongest penalty the law affords

  • Yes, they should get time for that. I remember when you originally posted about this. That took a LOT of force to push that boulder off its perch. If I remember right, they were also intoxicated when they were doing their "public service". There was NO reason to do that to begin with.

  • Yes, they should get time and be fined. I can't believe they're sticking to that lame safety issue excuse. Like anyone with a few brain cells would believe that shit.

It's all they have, but I think anyone watching the video can see otherwise.

  • This whole thing made me sick. I love that one of them was suing for disability from a car accident. I guess shoving over this boulder does that idea in, lol. He and his pal should do some time.
200 million years on the planet for that formation and dumb and dumber decide that "it was an accident waiting to happen." Cripes!
