  • never! i slept all the time. especially during the first trimester. you body is growing at such a rapid rate, sleep is the best thing you can do for it. but make sure you are also getting up and about. You need some form of exercise to keep the blood circulating and what not. once you get to the last few weeks its hard to sleep, so enjoy it now.

  • Seems like I always wanted to sleep when I was pregnant. I was never a nap taker until I was pregnant! Like the last poster said, enjoy the sleep now....after all you're busy making a baby's ear, fingers, etc. while you sleep, so it's not like you're being lazy. :-)

  • Sleep as long as you can before you have to be up all night with the baby or you're up all night peeing and tossing and turning at the end of your pregnancy LOL.

  • You can sleep too much anytime. When you over sleep you actually end up more and more tired until all you do is sleep...Given tghe changing chem levels in your body make you want to nap and that is fine as long as napping is all you do. There is no such thing as storing or catching up on sleep. The more you get the more your body wants and the more tired you will feel. Vicous cycle really.
