Why does Fox News have such a negative reaction of people?

Whenever a question has Fox News in there is always so much negativity about the news channel. Why is that? The same story can be on all the major news channels plus ABC NBC FOX, yet Fox News is the bad guy. I don't get it.

  • Fox News tends to lean more towards the conservative side of things.

  • And many other channels are take mostly liberal views, and when you get down to the nitty gritty its a conservative liberal thing.

  • Because some people cannot distinguish commentary from reporting and assume that the same tone of the commentary exists in the reporting. (that goes both ways, too. Hardball is one program, yet some people assume all MSNBC reporting is so unbalanced it must be dismissed as easily as FOX)

  • Yeah and CNN leans to the left so if all news sources are biased in some way no one should complain period about what news station it comes to. The issue should be is the story accurate or not. I can normally look through the bias and see what the issue is. But we all lean one way and have preferences so using your favorite channel should be OK.

  • Have you ever watched it? It is so slanted toward the republican conservative way of thinking it is almost laughable.

  • Because Fox news IMO is biased. They claim to be "fair" and "balanced", yeah right. Its only fair and balanced on the issues they agree with. And plus they have Hannity who IMO is a racist in denial, I just dont like the channel. I just watch it for amusement purposes only lol.

  • Because Fox News scares liberal biased media and their fans. Fox reports what you will see on CNN, MSNBC, as well as ABC, CBS, and NBC. PLUS FOX reports what the others won't report because the liberal media is more biased.

For example, the largest re-enlistment ceremony in Iraq on July 4th last year. Fox took time out of broadcasting to air it. The others posted snippets or flashed text at the bottom of the screen

Another more light hearted example: Obama walking into the window at the Oval Office his first. week.  Only Fox aired the photo.  However, EVERY news station aired Bush walking into the Door.

  • (cont)

The other thing is there is Commentary and there is News People fail to distinguish between the two. Hannity is Commentary as is Beck. Liberal media likes to take those commentaries and expose them as one sided news, when they are not. They are Commentaries. Big Difference.

See FOX NEWS strives to try to make Obama look like an idiot. Fox News even slipped in subliminial messages during election season to try to get viewers to vote for McCain because he was the Republican canidiate. Don't believe me, look it up on YouTube. The clip is slow motion so you can see it right there.
