a question for my friend:

shes 35 weeks pregnant and says every time she has to pee she poops too and wants to know if this is a sign of a labor, i never went into labor on my own so i dont know

    i totally under stand im 31 weeks and 70 % effaced and have been having contractions and already had bad ones stopped .. its frustrating i hope the link i found helps

  • I've heard people have frequent bowel movements before labor or feel like they have to poo before labor..I don't know though.

  • oh yeah and she wants to know it's only if you have contractions that makes you poop or if its the actual labor

  • No, it means that her heavy uterus is squashing into her intestines and/or her hormones increase the need to go.
    Sometimes it happens everytime a mom eats...

  • i know that an increase in the urge to pee can be a sign of labor i cant remember what they call it but it is possibl eif she is worried she should get checked just to be safe ya know

  • shes not worried, she just wants to know because when she went to the doctors on tuesday they said she was effaced and she has been having contractions all week
