What Size Was Your Child At 1 Year Old?

What was your child's height and weight when they turned one, and what size clothing were they wearing? My son turned one last week, he's only about 26 in. tall, just short of 19 lb, and is wearing 6-9 months clothing.

  • He was in a 24 month. He was 25 pounds and about 30 inches tall. He'll be 2 in a week and is still the same size, just 3 inches taller.

  • 22.2 lbs and 30.3 in at a year and wearing 18-24 month clothes. She's really long because her Daddys tall though. I have a niece the same age as her and is half the size. She's always been behind on the clothes scale which i think depends on the brand anyways. If your worried, don't be. Everybody grows at differnt paces. Your son will hit a growing spurt and then you'll wish he'd slow down. My daughters almost 2 and is in a 3t so she's starting to slow down. I think she'll be in that for the rest of the summer.

  • My #1 daughter was 29" and 18lbs and wore 12 month pants but could fit into 6-9 month shirts.
My son was 31" and 25lbs and was in 18-24 month clothes (he was over 9lbs at birth)
My #2 daughter was about 28" and 19lbs and was wearing 9 month clothes.
My #3 daughter was 30 1/2" and 20lbs and wearing 12-18 month clothes.

As you can see my girls are all on the small side and my son was huge, lol. He never fit into newborn clothes and was wearing 3-6 month pants from birth and by 5-6 months was in 12 month clothes. He's 7 now and has thinned out but is now in a size 10 pant and boy's medium shirt.

  • I'm not worried, lol, my son will probably always be on the shorter side because he has Down Syndrome. I was just curious at how his size compared to other children at the moment =)
