When you look at your hands..what comes to mind?

I look at my hands and I see old. They gather more wrinkles by the hour it seems..but yet I know the memories they have helped me to create. So  I would like to read about what you see when you look at your hands. By the way..thank you for sharing.

  • I see my mom's hands as I remember them when I was a little girl. They look just like her's did, now.

It's like I have a piece of her with me always and is comforting.

  • I see hands that carried me through 8 1/2 years of single parenting by owning my own buisness. I see My Mother's hands, I see my Daughter's hands, they are the same as mine right down to our crooked pinkie finger on our right hands. I see my wedding ring which reminds me I am unconditionally loved, I see strengh and a safe place for both my Children's and Hubby's hands to land. But most of all, I see strength.

  • Looking at my hands always makes me think of my grandmother because we all have crooked pinkies on both hands when my son was born she came in the room unwrapped him and uncurled his little hands to look at his pinkies she said she wanted to make sure they didn't switch him by accident!

  • I see broad hands with thick fingers that have done their share, and more, of hard work through many long years. They are beginning to wrinkle from age and they still work hard in the home, but they are loving and gentle.

I wish I had a photo of my mom's hands...I don't remember what they looked like.

  • When I look at my hands I see my daddy's hands. Although his hands were of course much bigger, they are still my daddy's hands.
