how long can breastmilk stay good after being thawed?

i am returning to work and have been freezing breastmilk to use. If I let it thaw in the frig, how long will it stay good?

  • If it is thawed in the fridge, you have about 1 day to use it.

  • 5 months frozen five days fresh refrigerated 5 hours thawed according to the La Leche League but I seem to remember that it varies from site to site if you look it up.
