Breastfeeding and Birth Control

Anyone breastfeeding and on birth control? if so what is it called and how effective is it without interfering with your milk supply

  • HI my name is Michelle. I am breastfeeding my 9 month old son. I am on birth control called Errin its for breastfeeding mothers! Hope this helps you. I love it! Dr told me that Errin is reccommended for Breastfeeding Mothers!!!

  • The mini-pill, or an IUD are the only bc methods that I know of to be safe while breastfeeding and won't interfere with your supply.

  • I'm on Mirena, an IUD and I love it! It has no effect on my breastmilk.
