is it normal

my daughter when last monday for her 6 months shot it has been a week where they gave the shots there are big knots is that normal after a week

  • Yes, it is quite normal. My son had them for almost a month before they disappered.

  • My son has never had any marks from the shots...so I'm not sure if it's normal or not. I wouldn't think big knots would be normal......if you're worried call the doctor tomorrow.

  • call your pediatritian and ask.
    I was told to gently massage the area to help the medicine get distrubuted.

  • It is normal all three of my kids had big knots for a couple of weeks just rub them gently and they will go down.

  • It's common, but not normal. There's nothing you can do about it though. If it's a shot that she's due to get again, I might reconsider getting it again.
