  • Okay. I know it's in our mind set that to lose weight you need to eat less and workout. BUT your body needs a specific amount of calories, fat, carbs, proteins to get through the day and to survive. If you don't get enough your body won't lose fat but hold onto it. It's called STARVATION MODE. If you don't eat enough your body will hold on to your excess fat thinking it NEEDS it in order to survive! Have an egg for breakfast but add some healthy whole grains like a Thomas's LIGHT whole grain english muffin AND a piece of fruit. An egg is simply not enough. Cottage Cheese is also NOT enough, mix some fruit in with it and have a salad. Add some protein like grilled chicken, salmon or shrimp to the salad. If you don't eat enough you won't lose anything, but eat sensibly throughout the entire day AND working out 5 days a week will help you see the weight come off! But what you are eating now is simply NOT healthy!
