Do you know what this could be?

My 5 year old has these 2 small patches on her head (missing hair) they are the size of a pea. Do you have any idea what this is she has had them since Dec. 2008

  • Is she tugging at her hair? Maybe she's pulling it out. If not I would mention it to the pediatrician and get his opinion.

  • do the hairless spots itch her? are they red? if so it very well could be ring worm. if it is ring worm any OTC athlete's foot creme will get rid of it just make sure if she is scratching it to wash her hands after . it is highly contageous.

  • Could be ring worm. It's really a fungus, and needs medication to go away.
