To give you an idea of the rain WA has gotten

NOT MY PICTURE.

This is Snoqualmie falls. Pronounced Snow-KWAL-me. On the left is the falls on a normal day. On the right is the falls a they're running now. I can't remember the height of these falls, but I've been there and to stand at the top, like these pictures are, and look to the base of the falls and see people, they would look like little ants.

  • Thankfully we're at a high enough elevation, and far enough away from any river, that we're dry, for the most part. The park and ride in town flooded a couple weeks ago.

Since I've lived here almost my entire life, I'm used to the rain and puddles. I'm more worried about another Oso mudslide. We're under the same conditions as THAT nightmare a couple years ago.
