Nausea at 3 am

I am 5 wk 1 day , I am pretty familiar with this "morning" sickness this is baby #4 , but i don't ever remember it waking me up. I haven't actually gotten sick ( i couldn't throw up to save my life) just super nauseated. Comes in waves sometimes help if i eat but to be honest i don't want to eat anything. Nothings good its all blah i make myself eat. anyways anyone else have nausea that woke them up all night . What can i try to help ease it ?

  • Can you elevate your head in bed? I also suggest nor eating or drinking close to bedtime

  • i have a couple extra pillows ill give it a try. I drink water before bed all the time especially now cuz i have gross metal cotton mouth thing going in right now yuck

  • Grate a little ginger into a mug, squeeze a little lemon juice in or add a slice. Top up with boiling water and let infuse for 3-4 minutes. Sweeten if required and drink it.

  • Ask your doctor. My first thought was chew on some tums. It sounds like reflux. Elevating the bed could help- or try sleeping in a reclining chair.

  • I was always sickest when my stomach was emptiest. Try munching on saltine crackers. If you can manage just a bite or two, it might help.
