My cat's hair is falling out, what do I do.

I have looked and i don't see any fleas or mites. Our other cat is as fluffy as be. The hair on the back of her legs is slowly thinning out and there are also bald spots. She is almost 4. Are there any home remides for this?

  • One of our cats had that problem. We were getting her fur out by the handfuls. It turned out that she had a thyroid problem. After a month or so on the thyroid med the vet said "Is that the same cat?!" She was all better.

  • Is she pulling it out herself? Over grooming? My aunts cat does this. Could be allergies to something like food, or anxiety issues. I would have a vet work her up.
