What could be the problem?

Starting a week agoour lights have been flickering throughout the house. The things that are plugged in and running are the same things we had running a mth ago. I have insisted that the power line is the cause but no1 believes me. We had a crazy wind storm about a week ago and there were alot of down power lines. I think maybe ours came out a bit and everytime wind shakes it our lights flicker. What do u think could be the problem? Should I call electric company?

  • We had that problem yrs ago when we had the ice storms, it was the wire up by the transformer thingy and it finally gave, just before the lights were flickering we heard a loud pop.. The electric co came out and fixed it....

  • Yes, if it is a loose wire it could be dangerous. Call the electric company.

  • You could be having power surges. My mom has had these at her house. They can ruin appliances and other electronics if they get too bad.
