can my 5 month old eat grapes?

I will peel them and make them mushy...is this a food I can try with her or do I need to wait?

  • As long as you peel them and make them mushy (or puree them in the blender), I don't think there is a problem.

  • Peel them and cut them into fourths. That's what I always did.

  • Sure as long as they are in small pieces and she can chew them, I don't see why not. Just watch her carefully so she doesn't choke.

  • Yes if you cut them peel them and mash them, then next time maybe in 4ths take it slow.

  • if they are peeled and in tiny pieces, sure. but i wouldn't offer them w/ the peel. that can be dangerous.

  • What about a banana, it's a little mashier, and may not choke her. Sliced & quartered.
