  • No I wasn't being rude....I honestly could have smoked through my whole pregnancy-it was really hard to quit. So thats why I say I quit for the baby.

  • That's kind of awesome though. A baby is an incentive enough to not smoke but smoking making you quit instead of making you feel good probably made quitting a lot easier right?

  • i quit when i found out i was pregnant to! well, i found out then i quit like 2 weeks later, cold turkey..i felt soooo bad everytime i lit up!! i would apologize to my tummy...then 4 months after she was born i had a couple drinks one afternoon at a BBQ and i got some stupid thought in my head "hmm i wonder if i still like smoking" soo i tried one, i hated it, made me fee like crap, but i had a whole pack left, so i just "forced" myself to smoke them..stupidest decision of my life!! so ya, i need to get pregnant again so i can quit..lol..(its been almost 5 years since i started again)

  • I also quit smoking when I got pregnant, not for me, but for my baby. I certainly wasn't ready to give them up so I picked the habit back up as soon as she was born. However I quit for good once I got pregnant with my second child...about 5 years ago now.

  • It was actually very easy to quit once I had a living person growing inside of me. Prior to that quitting was basically impossible.
