Smaller portions of what you eat. No snacking on junk foods between meals- a piece of fresh fruit, raw vegetable sticks, a glass of milk. No white bread, white rice, pasta. (whole grain only.) Nothing to eat after supper. Only a very tiny portion, a taste, of dessert so that you don't feel deprived. Drink plenty of water. Get more exercise. Walk a couple miles every day. Walk up the steps instead of taking the elevator, get off the bus a block before your destination and walk, watch an exercise program on TV and exercise along with it.
