Tips for raising a baby basil plant?

Everything I try to grow dies. Really want this one to survive. I bought it the other day at a farmers market and would really like some tips to ensure it thrives! Thanks!

  • Put it on a window sill. Keep the soil moist but NOT soaking wet. Turn the plant once a day so that it grows straight and strong. Basil plants tend to bend toward the light rather quickly, so turning it around lunch time would be okay.

Don't touch it all the time. Since you are keeping it indoors, just water it once, maybe twice a week and leave it alone other than to turn it.
