  • Oh my goodness, you don't ground him! It's natural! If you get onto him about that, you are really just doing more damage. It's totally normal and very natural for boys that age. Leave him alone.

  • What would you do if you were 11 and your mother found you masterbating and then grounded you! Isn't being caught torture enough? Do not ground him.

  • OMG, why would you ground him?? That's barbaric, he's 11, it's natural. Let him be

  • I agree with the others. He might need to talk with someone about what's going on with his body. But don't make him feel ashamed about it.

  • You don't ground him!  It's perfectly normal and healthy.  Just ignore it and let it be or the poor boy will grow up will all sorts of sexual hangups.

  • Don't ground the poor boy sooner or later he was going to find out about it. Just let it go.

And please don't over react to this don't make him feel like he is a freak just tell him he needs to do this privately not in the open where he can get caught in the act.. Just relax MOM it is natural to do this alot of kids do it I am sure. GL Everything will be

  • I think you have some unhealthy issues with masturbation that you would even consider punishment. You don't want him to associate shame and his body/sex.

  • Just tell him to do that w/ the door closed and locked and not make noise. Let him go.
