"The New York-based Conference Board said Tuesday that its Consumer Confidence Index, which was down slightly in January, plummeted more than 12 points in February to 25, from the revised 37.4 last month. That was well below the 35.5 level that economists surveyed by Thomson Reuters expected."
Obama suporter or not, don't you think it's about time for Obama to start showing some confidence in improvements to our economy that he is trying to make? If he doesn't stop talking about how awful it is and how awful it's going to get, it's only going to get worse! He HAS to start showing some confidence himself. This WILL become a self fulfilling prophecy if he doesn't stop!
Do you think he should change the way he is responding this vocally?

No, all he is saying is how he inherited this problem and it's so awful and how it's going to get so much worse before it gets better. And you might also figure that the stimulas pkg is part of what is dropping consumer confidence!

Idk, on GMA Bill Clinton said Obama should be more optimistic when speaking about the economy. I think a lot of people are noticing that he needs to change his tone.
