Is it more important to love or be loved?

I believe it is more importat TO love.

  • I imagine they are equally important and without the one there couldn't be the other. I believe to love others best you must be loved and taken care of yourself so on and so forth.

  • being loved. you can love someone but they don't have to love you. thats hard to live with. so i say being loved.

  • Not sure about the To love thing...ever heard of unrequited love? That's where you love (and usually with all your heart) and it's not returned. That's not only rough on some it's devastating to many. To love without being loved in return just seems like a ying without a yang, very unbalanced. Why would anyone want to love without being loved in return?
