I need some healthy food ideas for my 18 month old. I feel like I keep giving her the same stuff over and over.

  • What kinds of foods do you already feed her? Try tortillas and cheese, different fruits and veggies.

  • You don't say what you're already giving so forgive any idea that isn't new to you:

    hummus on tortillas or bread
    tiny dried fruit like blueberries with cheddar cubes (cut tiny!)
    almond butter
    whole wheat bread with real butter (try it toasted and plain)
    Larabar (you can find this in the organic section of Fred Meyer or online) Cut into tiny bites.
    banana (can be constipating, so only give small amounts)
    raw unroasted sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds
    rice cakes (again, this can be constipating.)
    baby corn and cold peas with a natural creamy dressing

  • I have some healthy snack ideas that are filling - peanut butter on graham cracker squares, a slice of cheese melted onto whole-grain crackers, or apple slices dunked into fruit flavored yougurt.

  • My sons a weirdo I guess, he eats baby carrots and spinach and salads! lol He also loves spaghetti-os and corn flakes w/ bananas and cheese omelettes...well, the list goes on! lol
